SBIR Grant Accounting Support

I was about to receive a National Cancer Institute grant for a small business, innovative research. And it turns out the requirements for that grant stipulated that there were significant financial requirements, procedures, processes that as a startup biotech company, I didn’t have. And I knew that I needed some help to be able to respond to the National Cancer Institute as quickly as possible.

I knew Richtr was going to be the right solution because very quickly, when I was speaking with, uh, Maileen Flores, their CPA that I was speaking to, and I explained to her really the detailed requirements that were sent to me by the National Cancer Institute and sent her those documents. And she immediately understood exactly what was needed.

There was no issue. The fact that she would be able to respond with a procedural handbook, which I needed as part of the submission, she’d be able to respond in less than a week’s time, less than five days. So, the response time for my particular concern, which was immediate, was outstanding. Since we have been awarded the SBIR grant, I’ve worked with Richtr repeatedly every week, and they have consistently delivered.

What I’ve been looking for, which is trying to absolutely simplify as much as possible. All accounting business operations associated with my company, TumorGen. So they’ve really done an excellent job and more importantly, when I’ve needed to make adjustments to my budget and re-shifting some of the funds, they jumped right in and were able to very critically analyze some of the changes that I wanted to make and came up with solutions, accounting solutions and budgeting solutions that really worked for me. And the reason I would recommend Richtr is really just their complete ability to help with every aspect of business operations.

With my small startup biotech, they’ve really been able to walk me through and answer all of my questions, remembering that I’m a scientist first. I’m not an accountant and I don’t want to be an accountant.
