We originally started working with Richtr because we were growing and we needed some help with managing our quickbook’s bookkeeping entries. We wanted somebody that clearly had a proven track record, but we also had to make sure that someone that we could trust.

They knew their stuff right out of the gate. And they had us they had us up and running quickly, which was critical for us. I also noted that they had a number of software solutions that they were able to put to work for us right away, which really helped, given that we’re remote from them not living in the same place. And those software solutions they knew inside and out and were able to help us get up to speed on quickly.

I would have certainly hired at least one controller, if not a controller plus an accountant over the last five years. The full-time all-in cost of those two people is probably two to three times of what I’ve paid Richtr during that time. So just as a straight cost comparison, having been able to pay Richtr to do that work and not having to take on the burden of full-time staff has been tremendous.

I think the other big thing that Richtr has been able to help me with is staying on top of our accounts receivables by getting receivables into a software package that allows us to send automated reminders and to get collections done in a more timely way. That obviously allowed us to minimize our cash need because we’ve got collections coming in on time. So there’s just two small examples of a big impact that company’s had for us.

Folks under appreciate the work that gets done in finance and think they can do it themselves. And oftentimes you end up spending too much money or missing money where you where you might otherwise capture it or your reporting is off or you have tax issues. And I just I can’t highly recommend enough for a company like Richtr to help avoid those issues. The cost is negligible compared to the benefit. And it just it just it just helps you be more buttoned up as a small growing company. So I’ve recommended them to many colleagues for those reasons.
