Federal Grant Accounting Support

As a co-founder and CEO of a very small company at that point, I wore many, many hats. And so I was doing most of the accounting. Furthermore, we had received a grant from the state of Colorado. And we were about to receive a phase one grant from the national institutes of health. So, it became time to search for outsourced accounting.

The first thing that Richtr helped me do personally, was alleviate some of the time that I was spending on accounting. And what that enabled me to do is spend my time on the growth of the business. At this point, we have several government grants and, uh, along with those comes some pretty strict, um, financial rules that you have to abide by.

And Richtr not only do they, know the rules, but they also have the systems in place to make sure that we abide by those rules. By working with Richtr, we get access to multiple people that have kind of a broad range of expertise. And, and if we were trying to, if we were to try to replicate that expertise in house, we’d have to hire at least one but maybe two individuals. And so the overall costs associated with that would be more than the cost that comes with working with Richtr.

Their dedication, at least in my experience to really, truly understanding the business and the field that you’re in and, and your, and our goals, from a financial perspective on where we’re trying to get to, they’ve done a really great job, understanding that and helping us get to those goals.

They’ve made my life really easy. I feel very confident that our accounting practices are sound and that we are in a great position to grow, both our product division and our research division. And without Richtr, I don’t, you know, I think it would have been a lot harder to get to where we are today and, and, to have the vision for tomorrow’s growth.
